The House

Belliette is a lovely old farmhouse, nestling in the green and leafy hills of Bas Armagnac.

Built in traditional wattle-and-daub, we have renovated it to provide modern comfort while preserving its traditional feeling and showing to best advantage its oak beams which have stood the test of time for more than three hundred years !

The guest rooms are east-facing, so you can enjoy the first rays of sunshine in the morning. They are grouped around the hallway where a magnificent bread oven holds pride of place: we found it neglected but intact.

The dining room was an old "chai" where Armagnac used to be distilled and stored (here we don’t use the term cellar). We serve a traditional french breakfast with home-made jams and pastries. And if our hens are cooperating, we can offer fresh boiled eggs !

We also offer dinner, if you wish, with local specialties and family recipes, served, of course, with local wines.
